Duncan has worked in the advisory sector since leaving university. Prior to Oculus he was a founding and Managing Director of a large national IFA that was acquired by a FTSE 100 financial services company. As the founder of Oculus Wealth Management, his desire is to create a unique advisory business with integrity, service and quality as its core values. Duncan is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Married with three active boys, life outside work is predominately sport related. Duncan is a RFU qualified coach and referee at Harrogate rugby club, and likes to spend any ‘downtime’ keeping fit by running and general training. In the past he has completed various endurance events such as the Marathon Des Sables, Alpine and Coast to Coast races, but as his body has started creaking with age, there is now more focus on activities like tennis and cricket!
