Mike began his career in the 1980’s as a trainee Broker consultant at Clerical Medical Before moving to Provincial Life as a regional Broker consultant covering Birmingham City Centre.

Mike moved to Lloyds Bank Birmingham in the early 1990’s where he advised High Net Worth Corporate clients on all aspects of Financial Planning.

In 1996 Mike was approached to run the Birmingham office of Deloitte’s Financial Planning where he became Regional Director of Private Clients. Mike remained at the firm during several takeovers becoming the Managing Director under the EFG Platts Fello Limited banner, as well as sitting on the Board of EFG Asset Management in London.

During Mike’s lengthy career he has established his own long standing private client base where he deals with high-net-worth clients, utilising his specialism, to help families enjoy and protect their wealth. Mike also has many years of experience in providing end to end financial services planning enabling him to support clients at every stage of their life and enable them to achieve their financial objectives. Due to his extensive experience Mike has built relationships lasting through generations and by nurturing these relationships Mike is able to apply his knowledge and provide detailed advice on a broad range of areas including pensions, protection, investments, trust planning and inheritance.

Mike’s experience is further bolstered with the support of the relationships he has built with other professionals, some he has worked with in excess of 20 years and this enables Mike to refer his clients to trusted partners where required.

Outside of work you will find Mike on the golf course. He is a keen golfer and a long-standing member of Little Aston Golf Club.
